Red Door Advises JIT-EX on Its Sale to Alabama Motor Express
Red Door Strategic Advisory (“Red Door”) recently advised JIT-EX, LLC (“JIT-EX” or the “Company”), a Memphis, Tennessee-based, high-service, asset-based trucking provider, on its sale to Alabama Motor Express (“AMX”), an Ashford, Alabama-based trucking, logistics and drayage company.
Founded in 2001, JIT-EX has grown into one of the most respected trucking providers in the Mid-South, offering local, dedicated, regional, over-the-road and other value-added transportation services, including container and cross-docking solutions. The Company operates from its Memphis, Tennessee headquarters and Nashville, Tennessee terminal, providing industry-leading service to customers with a fleet of more than 225 tractors and 1,300 trailers. Under the leadership of co-owners Bobby Watts and Robby Harris, the Company established a strong trajectory of growth, built an impressive team and continues to deliver industry-leading, on-time service.
