Red Door Wealth Management Welcomes John B. Russell, CFA, as Chief Investment Officer
Memphis-based Red Door Wealth Management is pleased to announce the addition of John B. Russell, CFA as its new Chief Investment Officer and newest wealth advisor.
As Chief Investment Officer and a Chartered Financial Analyst®, John will lead Red Door Wealth Management’s investment strategies. He will set the firm’s investment philosophy and strategic asset allocation, chair the Investment Committee, and direct research, manager due diligence, and portfolio risk management. He will work alongside the firm’s advisors to build and maintain custom strategies tailored to each client’s objectives, time horizon, and tolerance for risk.
Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, John earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College. An active community volunteer and an Eagle Scout, John is a leader of Scouting America Troop 241 at Christ United Methodist, Treasurer of the White Station High School Booster Club and a member of the Memphis CFA Society. He and his wife Katherine have two sons and one daughter. When not in the office, John enjoys playing tennis, supporting all children’s endeavors, music and movies.
